On July 15, 2022, I went to Dandelion Middle School, Daxing District, Beijing, to carry out a 10-day offline volunteer teaching activity with the Fuzhiark support Teaching Group of Tsinghua Affiliated High School。Although ten days is not enough for me to fully understand them and enter them, but in the course of ten days, we have brought more learning opportunities for the children of Dandelion, and our knowledge level and teaching ability have been continuously improved. It can be said that volunteer teaching has brought a brand new myself。In these ten days, we have devoted ourselves and paid with all our heart. We have paid love and gained happiness here。
In dandelion，People here，I was deeply impressed - Dandelion Middle School summer camp has such a slogan，"We are happy, confident, brave, sunny dandelions."，Such a sentence，The image of the dandelion man，Tough, persistent, passionate，They insist on the desire for study, insist on the love of life, insist on the belief that knowledge can change fate，All of this shocked me deeply。As a volunteer of Beijing Cultural Expo, I gave four lectures on the Forbidden City in one day. The audience was so attentive that they even discussed with me when they visited the Forbidden City the next day. The sense of spontaneous happiness and the pride of inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture are still unforgettable。
The teachers, the students, even the owner of the small supermarket - everyone here will give the volunteers the greatest kindness, which is the most touched me during the ten days in Dandelion。In the school every student will be very serious to us to say: "Teacher hello!"，He will show us around the campus warmly，Tell us where the water fountain is, where the cafeteria is, which way from the classroom to the dormitory is the most time saving, how to grab the limited playground...Dandelion's teachers also take good care of us and help us every day，Time after school，We sometimes go to the small supermarket near the school to replenish some supplies and small prizes，The first time we went there，The owner of the small supermarket was very enthusiastic and said to us, "Are you dandelion volunteers？You'll get 20% off everything you buy today!"。We learned later in the conversation，The owner's child is also a student at Dandelion High School，He is very grateful to the volunteers who come to teach here for the transformation of his children，He said: "These few days of the camp I can feel his personality really brightened a lot，So thank you very much "...I felt it again in that moment，All the goodwill between people，It's all mutual，Love is really a kind of happiness based on giving。
